The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is committed to ensuring the ongoing financial health and sound operation of Harmony House.

A number of board committees – fundraising, personnel, finance, policy and social action – carry out much of the board’s work, bringing recommendations for decisions to the monthly board meetings.

Our membership

The board may have between eight and 13 members at any time, including:

• at least one ex-resident
• two members from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, which founded Harmony House
• members from a cross-section of the community

As of June 2009, current residents and ex-residents (beyond the one designated position) may sit on the board.
