Support for Women

We provide support for women to find the resources they need to ensure financial, legal and emotional security. We promote residents’ safety, health, self-awareness, self-esteem and sense of community. We also support women and children ease into the transition from crisis shelter to independent living.

Our services include a program of individual and group support, advocacy and referral, indirect legal assistance, one-on-one and group support, and crisis intervention as needed. Our residents have empowered themselves to become independent and free of violence and abuse. They have also continued to maintain this independence and empowerment by gaining access to secure and safe permanent housing, furthering their education, securing jobs, and securing child care to name a few achievements.
