Donating Goods and Services
Women who come to Harmony House often come with few, if any, possessions.
The following is a list of items that Harmony House needs for its residents on an ongoing basis. We will accept items that are in "gently used" condition. Due to health and safety regulations, toiletries and food items must be new and unopened. We are unable to accept stuffed animals unless they are new. We are no longer able to accept used linens and clothing for health reasons.
Anyone interested in donating goods to Harmony House are requested to call the shelter during office hours to determine current needs.
For the Residents' Apartments
- Small kitchen appliances, such as kettles, toasters, toaster ovens, can openers
- Juice/water/milk pitchers
- Pyrex/Corning Ware casserole dishes
- Baking items (mixing bowls, muffin tins,cookie sheets, cake pans, measuring cups and spoons etc)
- Pots and pans
- Dish soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, all purpose cleaners
- Table lamps
- Paper products such as paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, sanitary pads
- Cutlery, serving utensils, spatulas, ice cube trays
- Dinner plates, bowls, drinking glasses, mugs
- Clothes hangars
